Description

Information "Alvar Dachzelt Grau"

Hardtop rooftop tent for 2 people – aerodynamic, sturdy, semi-automatic. Ready for Scandinavian road trips, off-road tours and spontaneous micro-adventures – wherever the road takes you.

The Groenberg Alvar is an aluminium hard-shell rooftop tent that combines great comfort with quick setup and pack-down. The semi-automatic opening mechanism with STABILUS gas struts turns pitching camp into a matter of seconds instead of minutes. Ideal for anyone who would rather spend their time outdoors than wrestling with tent poles.

Features & technical highlights

Vehicle compatibility

Fits almost any vehicle with a dynamic roof load of at least 77 kg (tent weight without ladder) plus the weight of the roof bars. The static load capacity when parked is usually much higher.

Wind-resistant up to Beaufort 8

The aerodynamic triangular shape of the Alvar withstands wind up to Beaufort 8 – even in rough weather.

Flat profile & aerodynamic shape

Just 12 cm high when closed – less air resistance for quieter drives, even on the motorway.

300 kg load capacity

Sturdy aluminium frame with a maximum interior load capacity of 300 kg – solid construction for everyday use.

Dimmable LED lighting

12V LED interior lighting with 3 dimming levels and an integrated USB port – the right light for every situation.

Memory foam mattress

Memory foam mattress with a removable, machine-washable flannel cover for a comfortable night's sleep.

Ventilation & condensation control

A 3D airmesh mat under the mattress keeps air circulating and reduces condensation.

8,000 mm water column

Ripstop polyester with a water column of 8,000 mm – solid weather protection on the road.

Organiser with touch function

An integrated organiser with touch function keeps devices and small items within reach – even at night.

Large windows & insect protection

Large windows double as entrances and come with fine insect mesh – for good ventilation and a clear view.

Canopy & rain protection

The integrated canopy protects against rain and sun – so the windows can stay open even in bad weather.

Telescopic ladder & shoe bag

Includes a 2.30 m telescopic ladder and a hanging shoe bag for 2 pairs. Optional accessory: 2.60 m ladder.
