Setup in 5 steps
Choose your spot
Find ground that is as level and firm as possible. The straighter the Stage stands, the more comfortably you’ll sleep.
Set up the Stage
Stand the Stage upright on the ground and pull it apart from the middle until it reaches the full 192 × 130 cm surface. Check that it stands securely everywhere and doesn’t wobble.
Set up the WEEKEND on the ground
Inflate the air platform to 10 PSI with the hand pump until it is firm and evenly stiff. Then set up the tent on the platform as usual.
Place the WEEKEND on the Stage
Lift the assembled WEEKEND onto the Stage as one unit – the tent weighs 11.5 kg (Classic) or 13 kg (Comfort). Centre it and secure it as shown in the video.
Settle in
Put in your sleeping mat and sleeping bag, done. At approx. 50 cm you get in like getting into bed – no ladder needed.
Taking it down
Empty the tent and release the fastening.
Lift the WEEKEND off the Stage as one unit, take it down on the ground, let the air out of the platform and pack everything into the carry bag.
Slide the Stage back together towards the middle – down to 76 × 25 × 20 cm.
The Stage and WEEKEND go in the boot. If the tent got wet, let it dry completely at home before storing it.
Important
The Stage is made for the WEEKEND Classic and WEEKEND Comfort. For transport everything is packed – the Stage and WEEKEND travel in the boot. If you use the WEEKEND on your car: it is always set up on the ground, lifted onto the roof as one unit and never travels on the roof.
Stage setup: FAQ
Do I need a car for the Stage?
No. With the Stage the WEEKEND stands independently of the car – in the garden, at a festival or at the campsite while the car is out.
Can I set up the Stage on my own?
The Stage weighs max. 9 kg, the WEEKEND 11.5 or 13 kg. One person can carry and place both. With two people it’s more relaxed.
How high does the tent stand on the Stage?
The bed is at approx. 50 cm. You get in without a ladder, much like getting into bed.
Can I still use the WEEKEND on my car?
Yes. The Stage and the car roof are two ways to set up the WEEKEND. How mounting on roof bars works is shown in the WEEKEND setup guide.
