Rooftop tent with physical limitations
A tent on the ground or a steep ladder up to the car roof – for many people, both are a real barrier. On the Stage platform, WEEKEND sits at roughly bed height. You get in without a ladder and don't have to get up off the ground.
The problem with conventional tents
For some people with physical limitations, conventional tents are difficult. The entrance is low, you crawl across the ground, and the mattress sits so low that getting up becomes a test of strength. Classic rooftop tents don't solve this: they're reached via a steep ladder.
The alternative: WEEKEND on the Stage
WEEKEND is set up on the ground anyway. Instead of lifting it onto your car, you can place it on Groenberg Stage, a platform around 50 cm high. This puts the entry edge at roughly seat height: you sit on the edge and swing your legs in, much like getting into bed. In the morning, you get up the same way.
With the Stage, you get in at roughly seat height – no ladder, and no pushing yourself up off the ground.
Camping in your own garden
If travelling or driving isn't an option for you right now, WEEKEND on the Stage also works on your own lawn. You bring a bit of the outdoors home, with your own bathroom just a few steps away. Place the Stage on level, firm ground and use it only as described in the instructions.

WEEKEND Comfort has a removable SkyView roof with two panorama windows. You fall asleep looking up at the night sky – even in your own garden, without a long journey.
To be honest: what you should know
Even on the Stage, WEEKEND is still a tent. There's no standing height; inside, you move around sitting or on your knees. To set it up, you lift the tent (11.5 kg for Classic, 13 kg for Comfort) and inflate the dropstitch floor with the included hand pump. Depending on your limitation, it's a good idea to have a second person with you. The sleeping surface is also not as rigid as on rooftop tents with a metal-frame floor. A sleeping mat is not included.
On the car, you reach WEEKEND via the ladder, like any rooftop tent. If ladders aren't an option for you, the Stage is the way to go. If you do use it on the car: your car needs to be approved for roof bars. When parked, the static roof load and the load rating of your roof bars apply – check both in your owner's manual and in our Roof Load Finder.
Important
WEEKEND is set up on the ground and then lifted onto the car or the Stage as a complete unit. It comes off again before every drive – never drive with the tent on the roof, neither set up nor packed.
A sleeping mat is not included. Bring one for each person in the tent.
Conclusion: camping for more people
